Still a fence-rider on this, but if we can get him with a restructured contract, I'm leaning toward getting him. I don't see any team signing him without an agreement on a restructured contract.
Behind Olave and Shaheed we have a lot of hopefuls, but it will take some serious KK magic to keep us in contention. Possible, but not very promising at all.
And if it means we settle on an extension for Kamara, that is worth any salary cap angst. That's a two-for-one benefit. Yeah, I know they're both on the backsides of their careers, but I feel they both have 2-3 good seasons left.
If someone offers something ridiculous or would stretch us too thin to pull it off, walk away from the table.
And the Raiders are trying to play hardball while paying this guy $1M+ per game as long as they keep him.
