I would think the Saints would make it to his pro day, not like it was a long flight or drive for the coaches to do so. (Would they have made the trip to New England or Seattle for his pro day? I don't know?

now this is confusing. if forte chose to keep his combine numbers, then why would that mean he didn't have a very fast 40 time? i would think he would have run the 40 at his pro day if he was displeased with his combine times.

maybe it's just me.

He ran a 4.46 at the combine which is great for him. I doubt he even re-ran the 40 at the Pro Day.

the article that mentioned that the saints went to the proday, stated that he only did position drills and kept the combine metrics.. so apparently he didn't do the 40, long jump, vertical's and such, keeping the official combine results.

I wouldn't make too much of the Saints attending his pro day. It's not like it was a long drive to watch him. I'm sure the Saints will be well represented at the LSU pro day as well.

You can't read anything into this. Now if there are additional reports of the Saints watching other RB's, then it will be time for conspiracy theories.
