The one good thing we have going for us is that NYG is on a short week. I kinda expect us to win Sunday but then get rolled by LA on Thursday.

Why do folks use the term, control their own destiny? It doesn't make any sense. Just thinking out loud.

I agree it’s a weird term but it’s been used in the sports vernacular for decades.

In sports it just means - a team doesn’t need help aside from their own wins and losses to make the playoffs.

But again, I get you point.
