Saints Control Their Own Destiny (1 Viewer)

We'll split games between TB and ATL and go 2-2 with them, and lose to the Rams. Write it down. We lost our season weeks ago. This team doesn't even deserve a shot at the playoffs. How about ATL or Tampa? OVERACHEIVING, instead of this team underacheiving.

I mean't 1-1

It feels like the players are the ones driving the bus now. Just a hunch….who knows?! I wouldn’t put it past them to go out and get this thing.
If the players are driving the bus then there’s no way we’re winning 4. Maybe 1. It’s a coaches job to make players accountable. Players themselves have enough to worry about making sure they are accountable, much less, making sure and trusting that their counterparts are accountable as well. There’s a reason teams have coaching staffs. Name one college or pro team in the history of sports that won anything without a coaching staff. To your point, sort of, the fact that we’re starting slow constantly on both sides of the ball, proves that we’re lacking a high quality staff. That to me is the most frustrating part of this team. Even Detroit is having issues being successful and maintaining their intensity. Dan Campbell even said that he’s going to dial up the intensity to refocus the team. Matt Mcman (LSU BB coach) said that he takes full responsibility for not having the team ready to play, after losing to Nicholls state. It was almost cringe worthy the level of humbleness he endured. It’s the coaches job to motivate the team on a week in and week out basis. When you see the team play inconsistently it’s a symptom of the players running the team. More of that gets you less wins not more.
The movie Stripes they accomplished something, but that was a just movie. Lol

They have always controlled their own destiny the entire season. I have zero faith in their ability or willingness to win out with DA as coach and Carr as qb. This has become a dysfunctional organization. I expect us to maybe win 2 games and we get DA to keep doing what he's been doing for another year. Carr's salary cap number and Loomis almost guarantee it.
Correct. Bookmark it, save it, screenshot it or whatever. This team has less than a 2% chance to win out.

Now, if they did pull off the miracle great. Heck if they win 3 they got a legit possibility they could sneak in the 7th seed.

But no one would be surprised if they lost all 4

It would be the 4th seed or an early vacation.

Sad, but true. Anyone who thinks they can win out is delusional. We are more lively to go 0-4 than 4-0.

As a lifelong Saints fan I would love to know how many times I have heard that phrase.

Need to beat the Giants first, one game at a time....

That said, I would be shocked if they won out, they haven't come close to beating the Bucs with DA as a HC......
