Saints @ Denver (2 Viewers)

Would love to get this going -- anybody got a parking spot in one of the stadium lots? I was just thinking about parking at the Pepsi Center and doing the "Fan Walk" under I-25. Guess we could do a tailgate at either spot. I can contribute some beer and some food items -- don't really have any tailgate equipment, though.

Don't think I can meet on Sat, either.

Every little bit helps,:9:Where is the I-25(how far)from the curtis hotel??

We've got two rooms at the hotel that used to be known as the Red Lion (now Hotel VQ) which is located within the parking lot of Invesco Field. We won't have a rental car. I wonder if they will let us use our "spot" for a Saints tailgate? haha!

If one of the locals is serious about seeing this through, I'm in for some $$. Let me know.

Sounds good, except that I probably won't be able to meet on Sat. But I can contribute $$ and/or beer and I can bring food too. Y'all just let me know what you need. It's probably too late for me to brew anything specifically to bring but I can hit one of the local breweries like Bristol or Rocky Mtn. and bring a 5 gallon keg (or two).

I just checked into tailgating at the stadium and awaiting a call back from them. I read some of the rules they have for tailgating and kegs and glass bottles are not allowed. So I guess were stuck drinking from cans. When i get the call back I'll double check about alcohol cantainers and see what is allowed.

Cans? Kegs are just big cans, right? :hihi: I guess I could bring some Dale's Pale Ale or Ska ESB. :9: Let me know what you find out.

Congrats coolbrees. cant wait till the game and like gummbo can contribute some cash to the cause. lets rock Denver New Orleans style.

I called a talked to the people about tailgating and the guy who takes care of it will not be able to get in touch with me till the week of Sept. 8th. So I was thinking about what was said earlier about the Pepsi Center may be a good option to do. I'm not familiar with the Denver area and was curious about how far it was from the stadium? And is their someone I should get in touch with and arrange it? Would welcome some feed back from a Denver local that knows more.

It's an easy walk. Take a look at this map. Pepsi Center is in the upper right and Mile High is lower left. It's probably less than a mile.

I can probably get three or four cases of 16oz plastic bottles of Coors and Coors Lite through work- I work at the brewery.

If anyone would like to take the tour, and drink free beer on Saturday, i can probably set up a group tour

I received a call back from Invesco field people and they said it will be $30 for one spot in the parking lot for tailgating and it will open up at 8 o'clock in the morning, but normally sales out in about a hour. they also have a couple of other lots for $30 and $20 spots those open at 9 o'clock.

What do we want to have for the tailgating for food? Then I can start making a list of what to get? Also do we want to do it at Invesco or Pepsi Center?

Where ever we have it ,All i want to make is jambalaya,so i guess i need bay leaf, cayenne pepper, onion, bell pepper, salt, vegetable oil, white rice, chicken broth, water(hay, you asked)I'll get the meat,Maybe deer sausage And chicken:scratch:Or what ever is avallable,Oh ya and some beer. And i need to know how many people to make it for.I hope someone can come up with a stove.

I'll take care of the stove, gas and try to get some tables for prepping the food.
