Saints entire staff are at LSU Pro Day (1 Viewer)

It be funny if we draft Brian Thomas JR same last name as Michael Thomas
Cedric Wilson was issued number 11. Wouldn't it be funny if we drafted BT jr and then he wear number 13
Draft Brian Thomas Jr., he chooses the same #13 jersey number and goes on to have a healthier Saints career, as Michael Thomas continues to furiously tweet about the Saints medical staff and organization

I think the value of an OT at #14 + Keon Coleman/Xavier Legette/Troy Franklin/Ricky Pearsall/Ladd McConkey at #45 would be greater than BTJ at #14 + whatever OT we could get at #45
I agree. I think Fuaga, Fashanu or Fuantanu gives immediate starter value at 14. We can feel really great about the pick for addressing a glaring need right away with an entrenched starter. At the same time, we could get a starting OT at 45 in Kingsley Suamataia or Tyler Guyton, whether starting at RT going into the season or at some point during the season.

I guess it depends on how the OTs and skill players’ fits and ceilings are valued in the Saints’ eyes. If they have Bowers and Thomas Jr. valued as top 10 picks, significantly above the next tier of skill players and possibly above the OTs, while the OTs aren’t valued too far apart to the Saints, that might be how Bowers or BTJ becomes the pick at 14 if available, and OT at 45.

They didn’t show up like this for Tulane’s Pro Day the other day. Tulane’s was at the Saints’ facility on Airline right inside their office. Maybe had some scouts there but Loomis, Harley, Allen, and top assistant coaches weren’t present. All of Tulane’s prospects are in our reach for later picks.

We’ve usually had just Marcus Robertson, Joe Woods and Michael Hodges running the position drills at LSU pro day. Rather than our top execs and HC being there together looking at 2-3 prospects who are top 5-13 projections before our pick.

Most of them were at the owners meetings in Miami. Not sure why Tulane scheduled their pro day during the owners meetings.

Tulane representatives dropped the ball there. They should’ve had it scheduled just before the owners meeting. It was still surprising to not see our assistant coaches Janocko, Keith Williams, and Benton get a look at Pratt, Jha’Quan Jackson, and the OL Pines and Haynesworth for the later rounds. Or even run Tulane’s position drills. Compared to how much the top coaches are in full force at LSU’s.

I guess they either aren't that interested in those prospects or they think they already have all the info they need. Or they just let the scouts handle it.

IIRC, Jha-Quan Jackson was a the Senior Bowl where they likely got a really good look at him. Honestly, he's the Tulane prospect I like the best.

Is that all the info we got? Nabers vertical?
