Saints fans near SEATTLE WA.... (2 Viewers)

GREATNORTHWEST...I have that original card that you have in your avatar, I tried to PM you, but your account does not accept.

Welcome to Portland! If you are looking for a place to catch the Saints games with other die hards head to the A&L Sports Bar.

Been in the Portland area for a couple months now, really enjoying it. :) Can I get the address to A & L Sports Bar? I don't see it in the phone book. I have Directv with NFL sunday ticket, but would like to hook up with some fellow diehard Saints fans from time to time.

The address to the A & L is 5933 NE Glisan St. Portland, OR 97213

It is right on the corner of NE 60th & Glisan. There is a group of us meeting for the opener tomorrow. Who Dat!

Good news for us (and Lord knows we could have used some after the game on Thurs.). We confirmed that we secured tickets for the Hawks/Saints game. They're not the best seats in the house, but at least they are "in the house."

Looking forward to meeting y'all there!

there isnt a bad seat in that house...unless we get spanked like the colts did us..then all the seats would be bad.

Im travelling to Seattle for this game and am super excited. This will be my first live Saints game ever!

Sitting in section 104 row b

Question for people who have gone to qwest...

Where do I park? Or what is the best way to get to the game beforehand if driving is a bad option. I will be heading up to BC after the game so I would like to have my car close at hand to qwest.

Leave your vehicle at the hotel/motel/B&B and walk or take public transit to the game if you're staying anywhere reasonably close to downtown Seattle. I'm coming in from BC and have a single ticket in section 324 row D. Interestingly I bought it off e-bay from some guy in Washington State named D. McAllister. True story.

WhoDat!

Good suggestion. We made the mistake of trying to park near the stadium and it was a nightmare getting out of there. Took us something like 2 hours just to get on to the highway.

Can you buy mixed drinks at the stadium? We went to Tampa and they did not sell mixed drinks unless you are in the club level we are sitting in SEC 119 Row LL .

Last year I went to the Seahawks/Rams game and I parked in the stadium parking lot. It was expensive but I got to the game many hours before kickoff and drove right in and got a decent spot and didn't have any problems getting out (although I was heading south on I-5 to Portland and I guess most everyone was going north.
I had looked into some kind of shuttle service but could not find anything convenient; not sure what I'll do for the Saints game but I'll be there early for the tailgate.

Just got my tickets in the mail yesterday. Section 305 row BB. We'll be down there for the tailgate well before kickoff. Hope to meet ya there!

So have you Pacific Northwest Saints fans been planning a tailgate?
If so, when do you plan to share the details with those Saints fans who will be making the trek in from far away?

Please do share! :D

I know that some people are planning to party to the east of the stadium near the tracks, but I believe that one is being put together on the west side of the stadium also, under the viaduct. This a spot where it's mostly seahawks fans tailgate but they will let other fans in to party. Look for the crowd in black& gold 44 jerseys and you'll find us.

As it gets closer to gametime and the tailgate gets more organized, please try to post more info/specifics.
It looks like we will be making the walk from downtown/Fisherman's Market area on game day. Can't wait!
