I don't have cable, haven't had it for years.Who doesn’t have ESPN at this point? It’s a standard part of every cable package, I know some people do not have cable but that’s the exception rather than the norm.
It’s also easier these days to cancel cable, the streaming cable options like YTTV are month to month.
They stopped that last year.Peacock has alot of customers that don't even know they access to a free account. All Comcast customers have access to a free account. They just have to sign up useing their Comcast accout information. (Comcast owns NBC/Universal Studios)
You do realize how many people in the last 10 years have cut cable out and went to streaming? I haven't had cable since 2016.Who doesn’t have ESPN at this point? It’s a standard part of every cable package, I know some people do not have cable but that’s the exception rather than the norm.

I mean, that's actually true of most games every Sunday. Unless you're in the local market, you need to either get lucky that it's being shown on broadcast or use another streaming service like NFL+. This isn't really different. The Chiefs Dolphins game is exclusively on Peacock unless you live in the local market.
I think you’re missing the point. He’s asking people not to pay for peacock because it’s basically PPV for those who have no other reason to have peacock.I don't have Peacock anyway, and I'm not gonna get a subscription just to watch the game, but serious question... are we really boycotting the NFL just because our coach is trash, and OUR management refuses to get rid of him? As much as I hate Goodell I can't blame him nor the league for this.
On a regular season weekend you can’t catch every game, but it is new to start putting playoff games on exclusive services. I have Sunday ticket because I am out of the Saints market, and even after shelling out all of that money they want to extract a few extra bucks out of me to watch one playoff game.I mean, that's actually true of most games every Sunday. i mean, i pay $20 a month for just about every channel known to man with my IP service, does that count?Wait.....people PAY to watch football on TV?
YoutubeTV, Sling, and I believe Hulu all offer “cable” packages that are month to month, you don’t sign a multi year contract like you do with Comcast or similar providers.
