Dennis Allen was a "Serviceable" coach when things around him was ideal and team was healthy and led by a strong lockerroom presense.

This team went to crap. Our health went to crap. We have guys that we were counting up whose careers instantly went up in flames. There were lots of circumstances that were just simply not really within the control of dennis allen per se.

But Dennis has too much of a beta personality so its difficult to fight through adverse conditions. I'll straight up say it. The team sold out. Whether they had right or wrong reasons. The players sold out. At least Tyrann was man enough to wear the cross at dennis' firing.

We have a short term infused spark and energy from the roster now combined with a timeline of injury recoveries that have helped stabilize the situation. The increase of energy again is on the players. THis game is a business. Where was this 3 weeks ago? Again, ya'll sold out.

Multiple things can always be true. The OP's entire premise is a bit much. It is not nearly this simple and Mickey Loomis knew this and i think that was some of his thoughts he tried to convey which fans don't want to accept when "MUH WE LOSING ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR" . Gayle knew the players sold out on Dennis.

which is why y'all are giving this man way too much oxygen
Nope. We are taking back the oxygen that he took from us. Eye for an eye. It wouldn’t be no different if we were 0-2 or 1-1 with Rizzi. The comparison would still be here bc it’s we are still in season. Not to mention, we are putting other teams on the wrong side of history, when he made us endure wrong side of history pain. It’s literally a valid talking point for how the season shaped until now. The rest of this season is not going to be DA free. It’s ludicrous to even think it.

Hi everyone,

Can we have a thread dedicated to just how terrible of a disaster Dennis Allen was? Here I'll start us off...

It was really hard to listen to him talk "Alright" "Okay" "Now Listen" "Right" and he was a cliche monster, mostly all of Sean Paytons old cliche's "In this league blah blah blah".

Then he flew out to Los Angeles to visit Mike Thomas. Just imaging what Mike Thomas thought as he sat there listening to Dennis Allen blah blah blah.

He brought in Derek Carr to get himself fired for the 2nd time. Did he not learn from this the 1st time?

Why did he bench Alontae, then move Alontae to another role, then move him again and again.

Zac Baun fiasco need I say more?

AT Perry in the doghouse for what reason, nobody will ever know.

How come Mikey Loomis didn't see this? What does Mickey do for a job? Isn't his job to find the right coach to coach the team? What on earth gave him the impression that Dennis Allen could be the face of any franchise? The dude is a good defensive coordinator, that's it.
This says much more about you than DA.

I see no need to kick a man when he is down.

Only guys on the team knew exactly what he was doing or saying that was contributing to the decline of the team.

I have seen many Saints players like or reply to things on social media regarding his lack of answers when things didn't work and the lack of accountablity. So I will assume those were the two main issues.

Being a head coach is a dynamic job requiring a rare personality. So it is no surprise that many people fail at times.

This thread is closed. No need to kick a man when he's down. People need to move on. And if another thread is started, it will be shut down also and the OP will receive an infraction for beating a dead horse.

Seriously, we need to do better than this. It's embarrassing and petty.
