Saints Pick At #9 via Mock Drafts (13 Viewers)

I second that but for if some reason he is you have to draft a guy like him. He’s just too talented. Now, does he play WR or DB in the NFL?

Personally, with his ball skills I’d love to try and see if he could play FS. I believe he could and be an instant playmaker in our secondary
Why not both?

Choices which are currently consistent as being available at #9 via multiple mocks:
Mason Graham- DL
Abdul Carter-Edge
Travis Hunter-CB
Will Campbell-OT
Will Johnson-CB
Tyler Warren-TE
Trade down for additional 2nd and 3rd or two fourths?
Take Will. Kick Penning inside. Move Taliese to RT. This becomes a dominant Oline.

If we were to draft Will, I believe it will be to play guard. Shorter arms and I know that he had been in Dallas working on being able to get in a 3 point stance since he never got down at LSU. Moore made it known you build a team by the lines, so I'm leaning Oline or Dline with our pick.

Not sure what mocks you looked at but one was posted by ESPN and listed like 5 to 6 different mocks USA Today, Sporting News ....etc

The majority had the Saints selecting Mykel Williams

I'd pick Tyler Warren. He would be the most dominate weapon in the passing game immediately and boost that offense largely. No one is capable of doing that on offense or defense. Graham would be the next best option, but I don't think hes capable of transforming that defense alone.
Almost agree with you but you need a QB to make the throws for T. Warren to be a threat and not sure if he fits into our new HCs scheme.... think he wants a TE that can play all 3 downs and not be a liability for the run game

As odd as it may sound, as good as Warren is catching the ball and yet somehow better running it (he runs angry like Taysom Hill), somehow his best trait is still run blocking.

As far as QB goes, I'm in agreement. I know Carr is good enough but Rattler is questionable. Either way we'll have whoever Moore wants as a franchise QB no later than 2026 draft.
