Saints make their first big move of 2025 free agency.

The New Orleans Saints are making their first big move of free agency, and it involves one of their own in-house free agents.
Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network and Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports report on Monday evening that the Saints are re-signing edge rusher Chase Young. The deal is for three years and a reported $51 million.
According to Nick Underhill of neworleans.football, Young's deal includes a $17 million dollar signing bonus. His one-year contract with the Saints last season was worth a total of $13 million.
Young's first season in New Orleans was the 2024-25 campaign. He had signed that one-year deal last offseason in hopes of a big performance to earn a more lucrative contract.
Last season, Young led the Saints with a career-best 34 pressures and 21 QB hits. He managed just 5.5 sacks out of that, while adding 8 tackles for loss, three pass deflections, and a forced fumble. ...
