June 1st designation seems like it would harm a players employment possibilities, unless they are allowed to still negotiate with other teams.

Teams can designate certain players as June 1 cuts, even if they are cut sooner. So it wouldn't harm their ability to still find work.

Exactly. It helps the player. But in our case, it doesn’t help us get under the cap by March 17.

So it’s highly unlikely Morstead would be designated post-June 1.

Sort of assumed this would probably be the case since he’s been in the league for 12 years and has an inflated cap number tied to him. Definitely appreciate those 12 years of his tenure and will always be grateful for Ambush.

Interestingly enough, and while it may be unrelated, I had been seeing vacation photos in Antigua from Lutz and Zach Wood being posted along with the new punter we stashed last year, Gillikin. Seems almost as if the specialists are getting a bit of bonding time together with their newest ranking member.

Gotta think PRob will be cut soon and Demario will be restructured. Those appear to be the most obvious. Kwon will either be cut or completely restructured and extended. Ram and Lattimore need to be extended and then players like Cam, MT13, Jackrabbit and Tayson are targets for a potential be restructure. Curious as to whether they will restructure and extend Armstead as well. If they cannot trade Brown, he may be cut as well.
