only thing that really shocks me is where Tipton is at but it's still early.

Then that is taking his kindness for weakness. One main thing in leadership (coaches are leadership) is inclusion vs exclusion. He’s being excluded from actually being a QB, yet being included on paper. For me, i wouldn’t do it, from a leadership standpoint, but him not having an ego or sensitive feelings, makes it a non-issue. Honestly, I think TH7 would see being listed as a utility position would be a great thing. Unique like he is as a player. Idk, seeing a holder position just made me think about that.Imo it looks like respect or reputation purposes to list Taysom at his original position QB for right now. I don’t think it’s a slight because he’s fully embraced his role in Kubiak’s offense. He and the OC are on the same page about his position. The writing is on the wall that he’ll be used as a RB/FB based on about 95% of his practice reps being with that unit according to reports. Taysom is probably the only player on the team where it doesn’t matter where he’s listed on a depth chart because he’s a prioritized playmaker in the gameplan regardless.
Lol, that’s the issue I have with it. The dude has forever longed to be a QB in the NFL. He was told that is not going to happen. So, it’s pointless to even put his name in the QB depth area. It’s a slap in the face in a way. What he is, is a utility player. So just create that spot bc that’s what he is going to do anyway. Plus, if you are going to list a Holder (it’s not necessary to even list that), then it should be easy enough to create a utility position.
Just my $.02
Second nose tackle, which makes him a healthy scratch on game days. Has shown exactly the sort of raw strength he was billed for, but also the need for more polish.Boyd is 4th at DT!
I think it would be fair to have his name listed multiple times at many positions on offense and special teams.Listing TH7 as a QB now is kinda insulting. At this point, just create a “Utility” player spot and put his name there.
I think you over thinking it, I doubt taysom hill feels hes a victim or has hurt feelings because of a depth chart before pre season. Hill is a Manly Man I seen homie bulldoze 6 people, if he crying over his name being a QB because he's in his feelings, then my feelings will be hurtLol, that’s the issue I have with it. No one loves TH7 like I do. Not only as a player, but the type of person he is. I only mentioned it from a leadership standpoint. Has nothing to do with TH7’s feelings or lack their of, bc he is ego-less. I’m just saying, with how his career has unfolded, I would have not done it, as a courtesy to him, just in case. It’s like when Teabow was traded to the Jets. He was told that he was going to play STs, with being inserted in some Wildcat packages, but was listed as the backup to Sanchez, with McElroy. Sanchez was benched for McElroy. It’s literally not that hard to list a guy in the actual position that they will be playing. For me, it would be different, had TH7 not played QB for us at any point, along with his desire to be a QB. I’m detailed oriented, so little things like that, sticks out. Maybe I’m just overly protective of TH7, but looking at comments on Twitter, there are others that it sticks out to as well. If you can change a man’s position in real life, then it should be super easy to do it on paper.I think you over thinking it, I doubt taysom hill feels hes a victim or has hurt feelings because of a depth chart before pre season. I personally don't think it matters who's QB 2 between Haener and Rattler unless something happens to Carr
It's funny, I see it the exact opposite. I think Taysom still sees himself as a QB who is making sacrifices in the best interest of the team. I think this is the team respecting that. Heck, it might be as simple as the staff asking him where he wanted to be listed. No one loves TH7 like I do. Not only as a player, but the type of person he is.
