Ok, I’m starting to warm up to the idea of Glenn the more I listen to interviews with him.
Same, I think he stands above most of the candidates out there.

The more that I listen to the different candidates for the Saints HC, the more that I keep coming back to AG as someone who Id like to see get the job. I think he’s well spoken and looks to be a pretty good leader of his men.

Yep, AG comes off as the opposite of DA. I’d like a vocal head coach who will tell it like it is.This should dispel all the Glenn would just be another DA talk. I'd still prefer an offensive HC, but there is a lot to like about Glenn and he is one of the defensive coaches that I think he would be a good hire. The key will be him finding a good OC.

I'm glad to see people coming around on Glenn. He has the best resume of all of the coordinator candidates:
*Great player (not necessary but nice).
*Worked as a scout before coaching.
*Key cog in rebuilding a hapless defense in NO. Defense got better every year he was here.
*Defense fell off of a cliff after he left.
*Key cog in rebuilding entire franchise in Detroit. Defense got better every year he has been there.
*Comes from a program that has been preparing guys to be head coaches on a weekly basis.
He's my guy and I hope he brings Ray Agnew and Tanner Engstrand with him.
Who knows how that could go? DA played odd fronts with Von Miller and Mack when he was away from the Saints and then seemingly forgot how to do that. Glenn is mixing in a bunch of different looks with the MASH unit he's running with now. Draft the best players and figure it out.Honestly, if Glenn was an offensive coach, I would have been all-in on Glenn from the start. I still like the idea of an offensive coach, but in the end I just want the best coach possible and Glenn is a culture builder and motivator. Although I guess Glenn would end my dream of a switch to a 3-4 hybrid defense. Although he runs the 4-3 in Detroit, he apparently came up as a 3-4 guy, so I guess I can still dream.
The Jets stink and that kill all ties , we just kinda stink so we have a better shot. Unless they make us play each other for him then he will probably turn us both down .Carousels turn and butter is churned, actually, but there I go again being an old man
Glenn spent the bulk of his playing career with the Jets and coached with the Saints, so it stands to reason that he's tied to both right now.
