Jenkins is versatile. He is good enough to get matched up on TE's and even WR's in some cases, and can play deep centerfield and in the box. He still will get beat from time to time by freaks like Vernon Davis but he is better in man coverage than Harper. I'd like to see him get involved more than just playing mop up duty on the backend.
He is versatile.
He is too slow to match up with faster TEs and receivers, too small to match up against the big guys and can't catch to make a difference in zone.
To round off his skills, he is a pretty lousy open field tackler.
I really hope the change of scenery in Spags defense turns him into the player we were hoping he'd become but I'm not hopeful after the last two years of missing tackles, dropping picks and just not making big plays.
