SEC officials (1 Viewer)

I had not seen those calls as I did not see the end of the game. Someone ought to lose their job after those two calls.

The one against LSU where they failed to call offensive interference was terrible but at least you could argue the Florida player disguised his jersey pull where an out of position official missed it (still unexcusable). The two calls against Arkansas look like the refs wanted Florida to win.

I wanted Florida to win as well, but those are just awful calls. They rival the bad calls LSU got against Auburn several years ago.

I don't like to complain about bad calls, since they usually even themselves out in the end or at the very least teams should overcome them, but those calls were ridiculous and they WERE GAME CHANGING CALLS. And to have it happen multiple times at critical points in the same game, with all calls going for one team, is atrocious. Those refs should be fired, period. Inexcuseable.

SEC refs are the worst in the nation. Is it really surprising that a league as upstanding and committed to athletic integrity such as the SEC would have the most corrupt and incompetent refs?

Arkansas was given 4 turnovers, their kicker missed 2 FGs, and Mullet missed opened receivers most of the time. It was ALL the officials fault.

Well, this afternoon, the SEC admitted the officials working the game had erred, although they only publicly admitted that one of the calls was wrong.

After reviewing the events in The Swamp, the conference released a statement addressing the personal foul call.

"After video review, there was no evidence on the video to support the personal foul penalty called on Arkansas midway through the fourth quarter." It should also be noted that the same crew involved in the events this past Saturday was responsible for the phantom excessive celebration penalty on Georgia's A.J. Green in the LSU-UGA game.

Peterson had 2 FEET down. That was an interception even in the NFL. Last week Mount Cody should have been flagged for taking his helmet off while a play was still going. The SEC officials are probably worse than Tripletts NFL crew. But in the end they only wagged the dog by giving the SEC what it wanted, an undefeated Florida vs. Alabama.

2 FEET DOWN, I cant believe they missed that one. Even if they gave Peterson the interception, Im sure Lee would have made 3 horrible throws that not even the defense could intercept, then throw one spot on to a safety. Lee makes Jamie Howard look like Joe Montana.

FALSE.... pay attention to the news more. It would have been a dead ball 15 yards BAMA first down.

As for Peterson... I agree it was bad but thats not why LSU loss. They loss because of inaccuracy of Lee.

How would it have been a dead ball foul before the whistle blew?

And its lost, not loss - if you like being a prick.

Edit: I stand corrected. Thanks for being a ******* anyway.
