After the incredibly vociferous response from the fan base on this forum, I wonder if they still want to supprt the Saints. Some want Dennis Allen and Matt loomis fired. Some think Ms Benson is unqualified to own a NFL team. Some on here are giving credibility to Duncan's posts, but who has been hated here since Bountygate. I would suggest that none of of the posters, NONE, possess the acumen to address the problems within the "culture" of the Saints.

Anyway, back to the title of this [post. If the fan base has lost confidence in Allen, Loomis. and Ms Benson to run the team. Would they want it sold. Let's digest that possibility. If the Saints are sold, would they remain in the Big Easy? Don't know. It's possible. I remember 2005.

I would hope my fellow fans would tamp down their temptuous childish anger and wait for the off season to unfold. It just seems that a 9-8 season is no reason to assume that the sky has fallen.

Gayle should not sell the team. I don’t think she is a bad owner bc she stays in her lane and is drama free. I love the fact that our owner is not a subject of bad publicity like some owners. That is a breath of fresh air.
I agree. Of course depends on who the new owner would be but I feel like a good chance it would be someone who would make this his toy and break it like Snyder or Tepper Tantrum

Agreed. As completely immoral and unethical, as well as unacceptable as his behavior was that essentially forced him to sell his majority share ownership of the Carolina Panthers, Jerry Richardson was and remains 10x a better, more intelligent, and successful owner than anything Tepper will ever hope to achieve. Under Richardson's ownership, Panthers were actually winners, advanced to the NFCCG in their second season of existence, eventually played in 4 NFCCG'S overall, and appeared in two SB's.

Yeah, Carrs QB rating of like 111.5 in last 5 games is the best stretch of QB play they‘ve had since Drew retired three years ago.

Carrs QB rating vs Panthers was highest they’ve had in same span.

Sold maybe, maybe not, excited…yes.

IIRC, the succession plan states that the team will be sold when she passes with the goal of keeping the team in NOLA. The proceeds will go to NOLA charities.

I'm guessing you're relatively new to the Internet and message boards. You only have to watch this board week to week to know how fickle fans are and how far they can swing back and forth. Imagine if we'd lost to Atlanta how bad it would be here right now.

Don’t know what your metrics are for new. I’ve been on this forum since 1998. However, I don’t have much tolerance for mass hysteria and herd mentality that resembles vigilante behavior wanting to hang perceived culprits that actually may be innocent.
