Site developement progress and some FAQ stuff (6 Viewers)

Thanks for getting rid of the huge question mark for us un-avatar-ed people :p

I've got nothing specific to comment on but must say that after not being on the site on a PC for the entirety of the long weekend, a lot of the little tweaks and features that have been added are nice. I do really like what the post above mine mentions in getting rid of that big question mark for people with no avatar. It was just kind of goofy looking. The media library is cool. I scrolled through the sig pics from the old site and couldn't find mine, but I did that on my phone while half asleep last night, so I'll do a better check later today.

Anyway, just wanted to give an updated token of gratitude for everything you've done to keep making the site the best on the web. WHO DAT!!!

The new system is all good, but when am I getting my "Mod in Training" T-Shirt? You may keep me in training till I'm dead, but I would like that T-Shirt. And just ask my wife. She thinks that I think it's all about me :rasta: . Imagine that heresy :giggles:

BTW: You folks did a great job on the new site. I mean awesome job. Thx so much.

OK - I'll hit-up Andrus again around Xmas for my Mod in Training T-Shirt. He and the team need some rest

On the articles on the home page, you click on continue at the bottom, and when it takes you to the article, you need to click on it again for the full article. Is there a reason for this or could you just open the full article after the first click. Love the new site by the way. Just making a suggestion to help out. Thanks!

Thanks Andrus for all the hard work and anyone else involved. Can’t wait to see the site as it develops :)

The first time you click continue, it opens a page that allows you to comment on the article. If you skipped that part of the process, there'd be no way to comment on anything on the News Board. I assume that's the logic behind the two clicks being necessary since I can't see any other way to comment on those posts without the first landing page.

Sometime yesterday I noticed the colors just popped. Slow internet on my end, trying to refresh, and saw this gold flash across the top header. Whoa. The visual detailing make the site look more like home. 100x better than the test board we dinked around on. :plus-un: Thank you!!

I find the font size is a tad large for my tastes. Reducing the page zoom from 100% to 90% in Chrome makes the site feel a little more like what I'm used to in the old forum. I also wish having the original post at the top of every page was a user preference instead of a site-wide preference. Other than that, I like the new forum.
