I've been scanning the Panther message boards. I think, if Loomis asked in just the right way, that we could possibly pick up Baker Mayfield as part of the trade.

For example: Without Mayfield, maybe we get 3 first round picks...

With Mayfield, however, we may be able to get them to give us 7-8 first round picks.

Coach Payton may use the Panthers as negotiating leverage, but I just don't see him opting for a team with no QB and a meddlesome owner. I am gonna stick with my view that the Chargers will come open and the Coach will be very interested in going to a solid team with a potential young franchise QB.
