Definitely. I wouldn’t expect them to be able to cover the airspace over my house in the middle of nowhere, but having security personnel at all bases trained and equipped to handle drones would be a good start.

Certainly. Fwiw, there are countermeasures deployed at a lot of these bases, although I couldn't say to what extent they're prepared for drones. I can say drone defense is definitely part of opsec.
