Spencer Rattler 2024 rookie highlight reel (1 Viewer)

My one big takeaway is he loves to target TEs.

Tyler Warren at pick 9?
I don't know if it had to do with a tendency toward TEs or the TEs being the hot route and him getting rid of the ball ASAP when he saw the first and second targets were covered. Film study I've done with All-22 puts it at about a 50/50 shot. Most of the time, the TE was the third read in the progression and Foster seemed to uncover a gift he has for finding soft spots in zone coverage that he really hadn't shown much of up to that point. But a TE with some wiggle is definitely in the cards on draft day. I'm just not sure you'd go Tyler Warren in the Top 10.

I'm not entirely sold on Warren at 9 either but he's in play for me.

Does it look like to you that I said I did? I ask, because I didn't say anything like that. It would be helpful if you read what I write, instead of reading into it things that aren't there.
Pointing out his mistakes implies, to me at least, that he would have to play without mistakes for you to think he did well. All good

So you expect a 5th round rookie to play mistake free football on a team coached by a historically bad coach with UDFA level talent around him?
His Draft status has nothing to do with it. It wouldn't have made any difference if he was a 1st rd pick. He's not ready yet and it does matter what's around him coaching and talent wise but, none of that's in his control injuries can happen in game and plans go out the window on a fly. His decision making and awareness still needs to improve and be better.

Look, I was not a fan of Rattler coming out of college and I wasn't a fan of the pick. That said...he showed more poise and physical tools than any other QB we have drafted in the past 20 years. And the OP is right...he was missing half his line and skill players a lot of the time he took the field. I want to see what this kid can do with a full arsenal and new coaching

You are inferring that from what I wrote. In other words, you are reading things into it that I did not say and that I did not imply.
