That jump pass is still just sick.

maybe he makes the team as the third qb but I would be shocked to see him as the number 2.Solid backup. Case Keenum comp.
A lot more of the opposite reiterating happens with Rattler on this site and a lot of double standards are used when it happens. Some of you are argumentative just for the sake of argument - And so that you can reiterate your dismissal of the guy.
That's true. It's also true that a lot of the mistakes Rattler made are 100% on him and not because of the players around him.Rattler was not the reason he didn't win in his starts. The kid played well, but when you trout a rookie out with a bunch of players that aren't good, what can you expect?
He nearly brought the team back from Haener's bad start against the future NFC Championship game participant Washington and might have succeeded had we went to OT instead of going for the 2pt conversion. He was pretty good that game and had a better QBR than Carr had the week before against the 3rd pick in the draft Giants.Rattler was not the reason he didn't win in his starts. Old defense bad no offensive weaponsThey definitely are not judgement tools. You don’t go 0-6 without some really low lights as well. I probably won’t go back and rewatch entire games that Rattler started, but I don’t know why anyone was expecting him to come in and save the season. We just lacked talent everywhere and QB really was not the main problem. The defense lost a lot of games for us as well.
So you expect a 5th round rookie to play mistake free football on a team coached by a historically bad coach with UDFA level talent around him? That's true. It's also true that a lot of the mistakes Rattler made are 100% on him and not because of the players around him.
I'm not mad at the way he played at all. I was impressed by the way his body language stayed positive even when things weren't going well.He nearly brought the team back from Haener's bad start against the future NFC Championship game participant Washington and might have succeeded had we went to OT instead of going for the 2pt conversion. Right? He was leading the offense very well that game, made some great throws and it never looked too big for him. Haener completed a whopping 4 passes for 49 yards (1 thrown short to AK who took it 29 yards) and no scores. While I didn't disagree with going for the 2pt conversion at the time, I think Rattler would have won that game had it gone to OT.I'm not mad at the way he played at all. Does it look like to you that I said I did? I ask, because I didn't say anything like that. It would be helpful if you read what I write, instead of reading into it things that aren't there. So you expect a 5th round rookie to play mistake free football on a team coached by a historically bad coach with UDFA level talent around him?
