I have always liked Star Wars (the first 3 movies), but never loved it. I will definitely go see this, but I will wait a week or two before fighting the crowds. I am not trying to talk this movie down. God knows I have my own nerd movies that I have to go see, so I won't talk down someone else's.

But I got up at 5 this morning for work, tried again, and got 3 reserved seats at Movie Tavern in Covington on the 18th.

I am very excited for this movie, but I'm realistic enough to know I don't want to fight the day one (or two) crowds.

Thank goodness for assigned seating. I could probably show up 10 minutes before show time to avoid the crowds.

Who am I kidding? I patiently waited 2 weeks to see the movie-that-shall-not-be-named, and that turned out horribly. Time to turn my superstitious sports-fan mind to my favorite movie franchise and do something completely different.

I went to the theater and got tickets at the box office 5 min after they went on sale. Got tickets for the 7:00 pm IMAX premier on Dec 17th. Go glad i went to the box office after hearing the web sites all crashed this morning.

The best thing about the trailer is that I still don't know anything about the plot. Too many movies today completely ruin the movie before it ever comes out. I'm hyped!
