If I found out they were doing this near me, I might consider showing up for Revenge of the Sith to the end. For as much crap as the prequels got, I thought Revenge of the Sith was pretty good.

you mean kinda like having another Death Star?

I kid...I may see this 5 times...even if they basically just remake Return and had Jar Jar in it every five seconds I'd still see it. In fact I have tickets for the first Saturday. That said, this was the least interesting of the trailers for me and while I really like the idea of having the connection with the originals, I would be disappointed if they went too far with the "history repeats itself" stuff (like maybe Luke becoming a "ghost").

It was the least bad of the prequels, and there were relatively few things I would change.

There's a scene in the trailer where Kylo and some of the other Knights of Ren are gathered up looking at something like they are scared to attack. My guess is they are looking at Luke and wondering what they have got themselves in to.

One would think the son of Vadar would be the only thing to give them pause.

Revenge of the Sith was by far the most tolerable of the prequels. I just mute the tv after Palpatine tell Vader Padme is dead. the seen actually is much better with no dialog at all.

If you've been following the spoilers/leaks over the last few months the Luke situation becomes somewhat less opaque. I won't spoil anything, but I'll just say keep in mind this is the first act in a new trilogy. There will be questions raised that won't get answered immediately and plot points put into motion that have payoffs down the road.

Trailer sucked

No, this trailer was incredible. And what I loved about it was it hit just the right balance of nostalgia and also letting you know things are moving forward. The new characters are front and center. They're letting you know this is a passing of the torch and not old Han, Leia, and Luke cruising around in the Falcon pretending like 30 years haven't passed. And that's awesome.
