Steve Young's first comments: New Orleans defense is too bad to threaten the Packers. (2 Viewers)

The Packers D gives up gobs of yards too.

If anything tonight proved we could easily hang with them just like we did on opening night.

Half their yards were after the game was out of reach and we went into a shell. Another 70 of them ended in an INT in the endzone and we didn't blitz nearly as often as usual.

Frankly, I don't care how many yards we give up when we lay 50 and win by 20.

Man everyone need to get off the packers, and kick rocks. 4yrs ago all these analyst they was saying packers should keep #4
With that said since 2007 there's only been one 13-0 team to win it all and it wasn't the pats or the colts ;
Packers defense is not great watch their games and no one bout to shut down our offense we can have another shoot out cuz we can run too.. All they can do is pass.

I kno grammar is bad but try posting on a I pad, annoying

In that case I like our running game much more then theirs.

I've been hard on the defense this year. Very hard. But what I saw last night wasn't bad defense. It was horrible officiating mixed with us giving up underneath routes in the 4th because we were up so much.

We stuffed the run as well, which would be the key against GB in a bad weather game.

Yeah, that's the thing about this defense. We don't need them to play as great as most defenses. I'm not sure Steve Young understands that.

You give us the turnovers of the Packers and give them our situation(in the turnover department) we are easily undefeated and most likely they have 3 losses. The thing is though, creating turnovers is a skill. Just ask the 2009 Vikings and AP about that when they played in our dome.

Now the cat is out of the bag about the Saints and GW, so we just haven't been generating the same amount of turnovers since then. This defense doesn't have a Darren Sharper anymore(where he was magical that one season), then again, who does? We do need some players to step up their game to have a chance in the playoffs. This going 3-4 games without a turnover nonsense is ridiculous.

The main problem is our offensive line and pass rush(it needs crowd noise to be effective) have been excruciatingly crappy during away games. I can't image what a playoff atmosphere on the road, with all that noise, would do to our blocking scheme. Ugh.

And the problem with stuffing Green Bay's run is they are a lot like us. They are the only team besides the Saints that can just abandon the run for an entire game and possibly still light up the scoreboard.

I'll still cheer us on and go nuts WHEN we play at Lambeau. That's a tall order for any team in the NFL to win a game like that though.

Steve Young just refuses to give the Saints credit cause he hates seeing the team that use to be in the cellar down in the kitchen. **** him.

Our defense may not have played all pro, but some of you are forgetting how we layed off a bit and pretty much let them do whatever, we really held them to 17 points IMO.

The Packers aren't beating us here, or in lamebo, that simple, I can't wait to shut all these morons up that think we are nothing, nothing we do is ever good enough for some of you people. Jesus Christ lets enjoy a GD win for once.
