Stuffed Flounder? (1 Viewer)

The kid had stuffed flounder a couple week ago at Borgne. Susceptible as I am to anything Besh does, I expected it to be good, but I really didn't expect a 50# 8 yr old to eat the whole thing. It was good. It had fennel in it which was prominent, but probably some Pernod, as well.

Top notch.[/QUOTWe will be staying at the Hyatt so Borgne is definetly on our list. Was your flounder whole with the backbone intact? That's what the wife wants for her b'day....
I called up Fury's to verify their flounder was whole.....they said it was.....
Love Besh's places.

No, I don't recall seeing the head or tail. I think it was fillets.

Try the Acme or Dragos chargrillers. you will forget about flounder BTW......

Been a while since I've prepared any but I've always cut out the skeleton, baked with a crab and shrimp stuffing basted with butter. Topped it off with a Shrimp and Crab butter cream sauce. Makes me want some now!

When you posted this last night I was just home from eating my favorite Mexican dinner anywhere. I was so full of yummy pig, scallops and chicken that I couldn't have eaten anything, but this picture led me to decide e immediately what I'd have for dinner tonight. So, off to the store for the wife!

FYI, anyone who's in the Pensacola/Gulf Breeze area and who hasn't been to Rio Bravo in the strip center by Lowes in GB should go immediately and have the El Bravo combination with pork, chicken and scallops. MEDIUM unless you want to burn the backside of your mouth apart.

Also, I asked the kid about the flounder and she said that the head and tail were on, but that there were no bones in the one she had at Borgne.
