Sunday Ticket Will Be Priced At $300/Year With A Possible Cheaper Single Team Option (2 Viewers)

id.me has Sunday Ticket for $199 for qualified U.S. active military, veteran, first responder, and nurse customers in the U.S. https://shop.id.me/stores/12768-nfl-sunday-ticket-on-youtube
Yeah, I jumped on that deal. As a Saints fan in NJ, I had to either go to a bar(hard with 4 little kids) or find a stream. The streams were always a gamble as they'd lag or cut out at times or inappropriate pop ups would appear and my 7 year Olds would be asking me about the ads about meeting Russian women or whatever. For $199 ($239 with red zone), I'll take it and not have to worry about finding the Saints game online every week.

That’s what I miss about the old days of Sunday Ticket on Direct Tv. You could always get a decent deal and it’s so much easier to watch the games “legally” - more expensive? Absolutely - but there’s just something about switching to a channel and there’s the game rather than switching to VPNs and rooting around for a bank of streams, half of which don’t work properly.

That’s the old man in me talking for sure. 😆

I’ll be damn, that id.me link worked perfectly. Only $199. Thanks for that bit of info. I’m going to spread the word on my veteran message boards.

Sooooooooo, I will take my medicine right now.

My fandom seems to have superseded my principles. So, I’m watching the free weekend of NFL RedZone and was close to convincing myself that this is the way to go. It was decent but it is definitely not like watching the games. I had stuck to my guns and said, nope, not buying it………..right up until a good friend of mine texted at halftime and said, “Hey, you wanna go in with me and brother and do the “family plan” on the Ticket?” To which I replied, “Oh HELL YES!” He's a Cowboy fan and up here, the game was not being shown due to the Commanders game. That set him free. We did all the communicating and verifying and lo and behold, I’ve got my Sunday’s scheduled. The second the game came on, I yelled, “WE’RE BACK BABY”…….much to my wife’s chagrin.

Yes, after all my ranting and raving and declaring no way, I acquiesced and bowed down to the almighty NFL greed machine and am watching the games. Albeit for a third of the price for the year, like the old days of DirecTV but watching regardless. I can stomach that.

Like that famous line uttered in Brokeback Mountain: “I WISH I COULD QUIT YOU!”

I can’t though…….

For those using NFL+ to watch the games blacked out on NFL Sunday Ticket available only to a phone or tablet, you can use a USB C to HDMI cable to display the game to a TV, monitor, or projector.

I'm sure most already know this, but the NFL+ app will not allow casting but screen mirroring does work. I can't change to output resolution from my particular Samsung phone so it displays slightly cropped picture on my projector but the image is still plenty large and is surprisingly good.

Perhaps the most aggravating aspect of the NFL ST is not offering a single-team option.

I'm in Atlanta and looking through the Saints and Falcons schedules, it's likely that less than half of the Saints games will be available on NFL ST this year. Week one against Carolina was but there may not be another game on NFL ST until the 11/3 game against Carolina! All the rest with the possible exception of the Eagles game will almost certainly be broadcast locally or prime-time games.

So I will wind up watching more Saints games on NFL+ at $6.99 per month than the NFL ST.
