We let go for aging veterans in terrible contracts. Letting Trey Hendrickson walk out the door and trading picks for Davenport, and selecting Turner in the first Round. Look how many Saints were on that Denver team. Dennis Allen crushed this team.

I would say it was more of Allen not playing him. Allen chose Werner over Baun without giving Baun the chance. Haven't really been a fan of Werner either. Nothing stands out about him.

Not taking anything away from the year Baun has had, and I agree it's criminal we let him go without giving him a real shot here, but Jordan Love threw that ball directly to him when his tight end was squatting and wide open as Baun was guarding the area behind him. That was terrible QB play.
