Jerry Jones is about to have some BBQ McCarthy,,, because the Packers have smoked him

Just loving how the Pack are not just sitting on the lead and trying to use up the clock

It’s weird because we kind of know what that feels like in that the historical ineptitude of the Saints - I believe teams very rarely have bad games against us because they psychologically believe we are bad and don’t want to lose to a historical “bad” team.
I don’t know about that. Since the Benson family acquired the team in ‘86, the Saints are a bunch of games over .500 (I think .535).

Given the average age of NFL players and coaches, I don’t think there are many who would remember the pre-Benson era when the Saints were in the Browns-Bengals-Jets-Lions tier — and things change so fast that you cannot even include the non-Jets teams without qualification.

I doubt it. The franchise is so far removed from that era. Even Sean McVay was born AFTER the Baghead Era.
I disagree. It’s historical perspective. Anyone who knows anything about football history still looks at the Saints as one of the “historically bad” NFL franchises. Despite the successes of the Payton/Brees era - there is still a stigma attached to the Saints franchise in the eyes of other NFL fans.
