Any updated photos of the turf? I was really hoping they'd bring back the black endzones this season! How would you like to see the endzones? (select an option in the poll)

I share your hopes of end zones that are full of color...

thinking about it... why can't the Saints do like LSU does... 1 end zone black w/ gold lettering... the other gold w/ black lettering

as it is though... I'm hoping there's a reason the superdome tweeted this 2 weeks ago for "throwback Thursday"...

of course what raises our hopes of them doing up the end zones more is due to Tulane going back on campus... so no multiple, overnight paint changes on the field... though the possibility exists w/ the N.O. Bowl and Sugar Bowl

for those who are wondering why this is a possibility

Good point. They do not have to do the changeover anymore which means no more wet paint/ getting paint on the uni's.

Bucs don't


I believe the Panthers don't do it until the back end of the season b/c BoA Stadium hosts a college bowl game or 2

edit: but there are quite a few teams that don't fully color in their end zones... Patriots don't I believe... 49ers... Cardinals...Bears... Vikings... Jaguars maybe... I believe there's more too

I like the Superbowl end zone but with black background and gold lettering. That would be sweet.

That's what a Saints rep said at a talk that I attended (that they try to minimize the painted surface because of it being more slippery).
