That looks like a stitched logo! That's great if it is.

I'm trying to think if they all started that good at the beginning of the season and then just looked like poo after having to paint it back on after a Tulane game?

I honestly can't remember... but yeah that's def. an improvement... esp. considering I could see the 50 yd line through the FDL from my seats in the terrace

can they stitch it in after laying the field? b/c the FDL wasn't on the field when they put it down

this tweet was from a couple weeks ago and is back on page 1 in this thread

Yes, they come back in and put the logos in after laying the turf. The numbers aren't in that pic and they are stitched, not painted on.

ah yes... duh... of course

hopefully they do have a new look to the end zones... I really want the background done up

does anyone know how they do it at MetLife Stadium going back and forth between the Giants and Jets end zones?

I actually love seeing that kind of stuff... like switchovers from basketball to hockey and stuff like that

makes me wonder why the Superdome couldn't have had that for Saints & Tulane, too... where the only thing that would've needed repainting was the midfield logo

also... back on the stitching... can they stitch out the whole end zone? or would that have to be painted or done in blocks like the Jets/Giants video

It wouldn't be done in blocks since they won't need to change it. Doing it in blocks at MetLife is due to the weight of the turf when changing it out. Can't just roll it up. Looking at the pic above with the unfinished turf in the dome, it looks like the endzones are in place and will remain green with either stitched in lettering or painted lettering. Hope I'm wrong. I'd love to have the gold Super Bowl endzone.

I'm too lazy to link it, but today the Dome's Instagram posted a video of them painting the endzone. It's the same as it's been.

Sorry to burst some bubbles, but I like thr way it is.

I thought about it again and I'm okay with keeping it plain and simple like the last couple of years. We have won with the field plain and simple.
