After seeing this trailer, I'm not gonna judge, DC fanboi's are a really odd bunch. They flip out every time a new actor takes up the role. There was outrage over every batman, every superman, even recent wonder woman. However, I really do miss the obscure comic book movies of the 90's, The Shadow and The Phantom type movies.

I am admittedly a way bigger Marvel fan than DC, and DC has really, really forked up the DC Universe. But I am rooting for this one. I really enjoyed that teaser. It probably helps that because i mostly just read Marvel, I don't know characters and storylines like I did with Marvel, so I can just sit back and enjoy this and not nitpick crap.

Being a bit older I appreciated the nod to the past with the lettering, and the Lois-Supes air twirl kiss.

And if you slam Krypto you and me gonna have words.

A little weird the first scene of Superman is him looking like he got his arse handed to him. But hey, it got us to the segment I liked the most... KRYPTO!!!

You probably already know this, but I read that this version of Superman relies heavily on an era of comics where Superman fights giant monsters that can actually hurt him. It takes care of one of the issues that I have always had with Superman stuff which is that traditionally, he can only be hurt by kryptonite or someone from Krypton which really limits the stories you can tell or just makes it boring since he can kick the arse of anyone else.

Yep. As a non-comic book guy the dog always seemed weird. Especially with it wearing a suit or a cape in this version. But I'm sure it's going to sell a lot of toys and a lot of kids will love it.
