I just changed to the Extended Stay Deluxe Reliant Park. It is 1/2 mile from Reliant Park. The room has a full size refrigerator so if you need to store the meat and chill some beer you are welcome to it. Game day you can pick it up. There should be room to store the grill if you need.

I know exactly where that is. I may take you up on stashing the grill there... You're walking to the game from your hotel, I take it? We could pick up the grill there in skymike's truck, dump it and me on the side of the road on Kirby at the blue lot entrance, and I can just wheel it in from there. Now this should be fun...

I just don't honestly know how much propane I have in the tank, LOL...we don't use it much at all, so it shouldn't be even close to empty.

I can bring another propane tank if you'd like me to -- just let me know. Also, no one has given a thumbs-up on my offer to bring the twin propane burners so I will be leaving it at home unless someone tells me otherwise. I will bring two decent sized ice chests full of ice. Do you still need grilling tools?

the extra propane tank as a just-in-case would be a good idea, as well as the grilling tools. Don't think we'll need the two burners; why haul it if you don't have to...

Miller Lite please....and yes, I will bring something to warm the beans in on the grill, if someone brings one. Don't forget bar-b-q sauce. Oh, we are going to need something to put the food in once it's cooked....a tin turkey pan is what I usually use. A roll of foil to cover it too.

Okay, I'm trying to plan out the day. I want to get as much stuff to the bus today as possible, so that minimizes how much has to be dragged to the tailgate area on Sunday morning (especially if it's a bit rainy). Voodooman said he could stash the grill at his hotel (which is walking distance from Reliant); we need to figure how to get the grill to the tailgate (walking distance does not mean dragging a grill along, LOL), unless skymike can get it in his truck on the way to the orange lot, and then we can drag it from there...? Or maybe it will fit in the bus overnight with the coolers? Ideas? I'll check with SaintMike when he gets in town to figure exactly how much can fit in the bus overnight, and what will need to be hauled across parking lots on Sunday morning.
