This is what I’m holding on to, myself. He was out doing Mormon mission things and didn’t start playing as a pro til he was 27, as opposed to the usual ~22 when many guys start their careers. If that 5-year difference scans backward fully, he’d be entering next season with the experience level of a ~30-year-old. A 30-year-old with an injury history, but still. One can hope. Here’s to hoping.34. That’s about done for players not coming off injury. Not 100% certain. But odds not in his favor
He also doesn’t have the typical “34 year old” mileage on him due to his role.
I hope he’s back.
I think you're right. He'll be 35 next season. With the injury history, and all the knee problems he's had in the past.....probably be the smart move to retire while he can still walk.At 34. I fear he’s done. Electric football player and made for some fun football.
Who's not giving up their body to gain yardage, its football. To add insult to injury, Taysom in his usual style of play gave up his body to pick up a 4th and one and we still couldn't punch it in and tie the game.
Yeah McCallum’s injury was so bad the surgeon warned him they might have to amputate his leg it was so bad of an injury had the surgery not gone well. Not even close to McCallum's injury
Yes,he severed an artery and could have bled to death if not for prompt attention. It was the worst I've ever seen.Yeah McCallum’s injury was so bad the surgeon warned him they might have to amputate his leg it was so bad of an injury had the surgery not gone well.
Yep. Tore every knee ligament, tore the hamstring and calf off the bone. All no with damage to an artery I believe.Yeah McCallum’s injury was so bad the surgeon warned him they might have to amputate his leg it was so bad of an injury had the surgery not gone well.

Because given the situation he going to get the 1st down injured knee be damnedJust how the heck did Taysom hold onto that ball after getting that hit.
for the folks saying he's 34 but doesn't have as much mileage..... the dude plays special teams ON TOP of everything else... Dude has parsecs.
