Taysom has played 10 quarters. During those quarters the offense has been unstoppable. Is Kubiak relying too much on one player?

Not a far-fetched proposition considering that 4 weeks in Taysom has already missed a game and a half (and likely more now) and Kamara is the walking wounded. At this rate neither he or AK will make it to the end of the season.
How does that compare to other teams offensive weapons? Just curious if it is much different on the amount of weapons.Hill, Kamara. Olave, Carr, and occasionally Shaheed are the only Saints offensive weapons.
Only 16 so far this season, but we are also asking him to help carry the load on special teams and in blocking. He had what I'll call 212 significant snaps on offense last year (blocking snaps plus rush attempts plus targets), from his usage in the first two games we had him on pace for 323 significant snaps. Considering he didn't play as much in either game because we were so far ahead, the number would probably be higher if those games were closer. He's not getting an absurd amount of touches. I think he's just an injury prone guy and it's unfortunate.
In the past, we've spread the ball around a lot. That is not the case with this new offense. How does that compare to other teams offensive weapons? Just curious if it is much different on the amount of weapons.
That's part of the Shannahan offense, though. You almost never see 4-5 wide. It's a lot of base, two WRs, two RBs, and not a lot of rotating players. In the past, we've spread the ball around a lot. That is not the case with this new offense.
Yup, I don’t think we had personnel to make it a full season with the offense. Sure our “top heavy” players are great when healthy, but you need a stable of talented guys to keep the machine working at its optimal level, just in case health becomes an issueThat's part of the Shannahan offense, though. If you continue to use the same players over and over again and not spread the ball out occasionally, the other teams know who to key on.How does that compare to other teams offensive weapons? Just curious if it is much different on the amount of weapons.
He has CMAC disease. It's chronic. He's not getting an absurd amount of touches. I think he's just an injury prone guy and it's unfortunate.
