Always think of his Supa Strut when I think of Teddy.

I don't know why you needed to "stop me right there" and then proceed to prove my point about Teddy B. Unless you think it's a clever retort about me saying the same thing to you're ridiculous post calling Payton Manning and Tom Brady system QBs.I'll have to stop you there. He was able to run Broken Brees' offense without any modifications, which would have led to a seamless transition if Drew chose to leave after 2019 and I believe he could have kept that going for a long time.
Drew not leaving killed that but Payton's system remained his system; just different for the QB it is built for.
I hate Teddy B couldn't stay but I understand the 60 million reasons he didn't.
If you think I said the same thing as you, then the point was lost.I don't know why you needed to "stop me right there" and then proceed to prove my point about Teddy B. I think your biggest issue is reading comprehension, because I never said "without any modifications". What I said was "More than any QB we've had other that Brees, he was able to run Payton's system without a lot of modifications."If you think I said the same thing as you, then the point was lost.
You said that he was able to run "Payton's system" without any modification and that's false. He was able to run the "late in career" Brees offense when he filled in for Drew. "Payton's system" is always based and built around QB1. That's all.
The offense that was ran from 2006-2015 is not the same offense that was ran from 2017-2020. The offense that was ran from 2017-2020 was not the same offense that was ran in 2021 (play calling tells us that the offense Payton was building around Jameis was closer to that of Prime Brees; run game, play action, and intermediate passing tells the story). And I don't know what Sneaky Pete put out there last season.
And you being so stuck on the system QB thing shows that you miss the context in my use of the term. Others are seeming to get it but it can be discussed over there..lol)
I am not going to railroad this thread about one of my favorite QBs but you are still wrong. He was able to run Drew's offense because Payton's offense is always catered to QB1. When Winston became starter, he began to build the offense for and around him. If anything, Drew did more to modify a Payton offense than anyone, considering Sean Payton had a West Coast background and he build a Coryell system for Drew. Part of the reason he brought in Sneaky Pete.I think your biggest issue is reading comprehension, because I never said "without any modifications". What I said was "More than any QB we've had other that Brees, he was able to run Payton's system without a lot of modifications."
And I am not stuck on the System QB thing. It's just happens that you said the most ridiculous thing I've heard in forever. It doesn't matter what mental gymnastics you want people to go through, it's just an insane notion.
Lol....you defend Carr in Ls but didn't like Teddy B as a player who only won hereDidn’t like him as player, he was carried by a great team; loved him as a guy
Ok, loved Teddy, he was great, he carried the team on his shoulders. Hope it works better for youLol....you defend Carr in Ls but didn't like Teddy B as a player who only won here

Ehhh...not really, you said what you felt like saying at a time when saying what you said was completely unnecessary which means you meant it wholeheartedly.Ok, loved Teddy, he was great, he carried the team on his shoulders. Hope it works better for you
