I'm pretty confident I've heard this said every season for over a decade and yet no collapse has yet occurred.These contracts and their growth can't be sustained. Soon long snappers are going to start asking for $15M/season.
There's going to be a market collapse eventually, imo, and the teams with money are going to feast on it.
People just get sticker shock at the big numbers. The deal will either turn out to be good value or not, whatever the dollar signs attached.
