That was a special win and says a lot about this team (1 Viewer)

Giving up two touchdowns within the two minute warnings is unacceptable. You know the team is passing every down. They better change their approach during this time or we not going where we need to go. This game should have never came down to a missed extra point. We were lucky.

It would have went to OT.??‍♀️ Home field advantage screwed them over. They aint want Breesus in OT. I TOLD YALL NOT TO WORRY WE GON WIN REGARDLESS....BUT noooooooo? yall aint wanna listen

Great win, speaks volumes about the grit in this team. If not for 1 dropped pitch, we may have won more comfortably.

I salute the Raven defense. Playing a killer defense like theirs has got to leave an impression, and we will be better for playing them.

I questioned our run heavy game at first but that Ravens defense was completely gassed in the 4th. We put up 17 points on that elite defense in the 4th.
The only team to put points on the board against the ravens this year in the fourth quarter. Thats something to hang your hat on. Can we acknowledge Thomas and Kamara? Those guys had the eye of the tiger late in the game. I love it!

They wanna bicker, whine and complain...let them.

Special. This was the #1 defense in the NFL. This defense gives up 280 yards a game (including today) Saints gained 339. This defense gives up 82 yards a game(including today) Saints gained 134. This defense hasn't allowed an opponent to score a touchdown in the second half this season until today in which the Saints scored two touchdowns. This defense had held opposing teams to zero TD's in the last 20 quarters I believe until the Saints scored a TD on them. The Saints offense overcame the #1 defense in the league while our defense held a decent offense to 231/2 points.....Thank you lord. These are the kinds of games with great breaks that form a championship season. Great win. I heard Bobby Herbert say that the Saints had only two wins when trailing by double digits entering the fourth quarter on the road before today. I need to make sure that is what the record is, but if so, now it is three. Outstanding win. Of course there is still much to improve upon but I feel we have the best team at this point in the season. I also believe that if Mark Ingram wasn't suspended, the Saints would be undefeated at this point, because Gilleslie wouldn't have been on the roster to fumble against the Bucs. Yes this was a special win, like the Washington win in 09'. You need those types of wins to win a championship. WHO DAT!!!

You gotta give it to Baltimore's D, I expected them to be gassed by the 3rd qtr... good effort by a good team... but it was inevitable, destiny if you will! ?

It was a great game plan overall.

On offense, they didn't abandon the run even though the Ravens were effectively shutting it down. They were aggressive in going for it and pressuring the Ravens defense--keeping drives alive and keeping them on the field.

On defense, they overall did a great job keeping Snead out of the game plan and giving Flacco just enough pressure to get him off his throwing lanes.

This Saints team is good. They have character and really seem to be playing for one another. I think they can be special.

People are going to downplay it by saying we were “lucky.”

And you know what?

We were! And that’s okay. It was the kind of game where the team that won would have 1 lucky play go their way, and I’m more than fine with that being us.

We played a great game.

WHO DAT?!?!
Why were we lucky! Yes the missed field goal gave us the win but we were dominating the second half. We would of won this game in OT!

Reading some of the articles you'd swear that :
Flacco was the 2nd coming & almost pulled it off!
That missed xtra point kept them from the win!
The Saints 2min D can't stop a toilet!
Oh yeah, Brees played today, though pedestrian #'s & he was the FOURTH to hit 500 TDs. Hell that golden child in NE did it already, what's the big deal?

By the way, any way you look @ it; the Saints are 5-1 w/ a lead in the NFCS

WHO DAT!!!
