The 14th Anniversary of Super Bowl XLIV (2 Viewers)

Maybe next season we're getting back in it (i hope)

And you won't believe where the Super Bowl LIX will be held ;)
:potd: ...great move, KDS, for pointing that out, Breaux!

Yes! In the Caesar's Superdome (in the Big Easy)!

That's got to be yet ANOTHER log on the team's fire going into the '24 season!

:gosaints:

Love the Saints and so thankful for this day. It was the day I remembered that David could beat Goliath and anything is possible even for the underdog. I am a personal friend with one of the members on that team and the more I've learned about them over the years the more I've seen just how special that team was. They were a selfless group who came to New Orleans in 2006 and stuck with it. Truly one of the greatest moments in sports history.

Still happy that Vikings fans are mad.

They mix their whining with being salty. I love it; their tears taste like bourbon to me.

Their coach should've been giving his crappy offensive line some help early and often, and, they should've protected the ball more.

Cry me a river.

My 15 [seconds] of fame... Yeah, I'm the guy who leaped up on my friend at the end. :very-happy:

That still brings tears to my eyes.
What a feeling!

For me there was no doubt that the Saints would win that night. I was watching with my brothers and sister and when they were down 10-0, my sister said, "They better score some points." Without hesitation I replied, "Don't worry they will."

What a team and what an amazing moment in time it was!

Full game on YouTube.

The drive right before the Porter interception is amazing to watch. Surgical. How many different players got touches on just that one drive? Brees was a lot like a great point guard in some of the things he would do.

I just checked and it’s 8 different receivers used when you include Lance Moore on the 2 point conversion. Unreal.

If you really want to tear up, look at some of the YouTube videos that were taken by Saints fans the moment Hartley's field goal sent us to Miami. You will see many showing grown men bawling their eyes out as they reflected on their personal lifelong love affair with the Saints and on their loved ones who didn't live to see that moment. The shrilly screams of ecstasy & relief may never be heard in the Superdome again.

Makes me heave, Every. Single. Time. 🥹
