Update The 2022 Saints undrafted free agent class (1 Viewer)

Maybe because he got signed to a contract that is larger than what a guy with his skillset should have received. We likely could have used that money to improve our team in ways he may not be able to.

I think most of the hate stems from Sean being so determined to make him a QB when alot of us knew better. So that alone started a divide about him amongst fans.
How's that his fault 🤔 when he makes plays and block punts when the team is lacking entergy and can't get a drive going its fine. his contract and position listed isn't a problem then. How ever the team decides to use him is on them but they had to pay him.

No we didn't have to pay him that much. He would not have been offered that by anybody else in my opinion. Sean's love affair with him led to that contract more than his production did. The Taysom you speak of hasn't played that way in over 2 seasons.

Waiting to see where WMU EDGE Ali Fayad lands. That dude has a knack for making plays behind the LOS & getting to the QB. The dude is a true pressure player. Would love to see him get a shot w/us.

Saints sign Michigan CB Vincent Gray.

So we signed a punter? I'm assuming he's a camp body/PS guy.

Typical, but funny, that here on SR, most of the draft picks are hated, and most of the signed UDFAs are future HoFers.
I would have been excited if we drafted Krull in the 6th. I’ve done a lot of research but I get crap when I say a guy is a big reach. Had they picked Dane Belton in the 2nd I would have thought it was a reach but totally understood it because his tape was much better than his valuation. I can’t say the same for D’Marco Jackson and the other Jackson.

The CB out of Tennessee looks okay but not second round material.

I wasn’t that into Smoke Monday but I really was surprised he wasn’t drafted.

Smith reminds me a lot of James Connor. Hard-nosed runner with good vision and one speed. Could be a nice get. Thought he'd go in the 6th.
Yeah I really like this kid. Still very new to the position. I've read a few draft reports that had him as a top 10 RB in the draft. I think he not only makes the team but might even earn a role.
