Breaking! The 2023 saints undrafted free agent class (1 Viewer)

This is great! I’ve thought long and hard about this draft; ORJI and JOHNSON are two of the players that I wanted the Saints to select. I also wanted STRANGE, HOOKER, KUNTZ, and BUSH. If they weren’t available, I would have happily settled for GAYE, COX, and WOODEN, but you can’t always get what you want.

Absolutely hysterical.

Even my wife laughed at this.

Really depends on his treatment and recovery. Even if it’s just a small tumor, the removal takes a toll. Hopefully for his sake more than anything he can get through it quickly and be done with it. Not sure if he’s publicly said what the doctors are recommending for chemo and radiation timelines.
Pretty sure it’s not a tumor. Is was blood related. He said it turned out they caught it really early and it was a quick treatment period.

He’s remaining optimistic. Other players have dealt with Hodgkin’s lymphoma to return to football before, and Moreau is hopeful he can do the same: “It’s at stage 2, so it’s spread from the initial location. But it appears to be a slow spread and we should be able to get rid of all of it.”

Is the signing of DT Jerron Cage been confirmed yet? He was not mentioned in the 11 UDFA in the Saints' press release.

Thanks for posting that article. I researched it and it appears that chemo and radiation treatments are the first steps and may be the only ones needed. If that does not work then bone marrow replacement would be next. With his athletic background and conditioning he has a better chance of handling it better than most. So I fully expect him to become a Saint soon and will play in 2023

It’s weird because he wasn’t in the team’s announced group the other day but OSU congratulated him and Cage retweeted it. Agent must have been still working out the guarantees.
