Carson Strong is the best QB prospect in this draft. He checks all the boxes. If it wasn't for his surgically repaired knee he would be the first one taken. I really hope we are strongly (no pun intended) considering him.

Im really hoping Saints go after best offensive weapon with first pick. It looks like Saints missed in free agency with that. Have to get Winston some talent to throw to in order to get a better indicator as to if he will be the franchise qb going forward

I'll take Malik Willis and raise you a Pickett. :ezbill: Willis based on his pure raw talent that can be developed behind Winston and Pickett for being NFL ready. He could back up Winston and I wouldn't be so worried about him having to start like I would any other rookie. Strong would be very interesting. Otherwise, I don't really like the rest of the QB crop in the upcoming draft so much.

Helluva an arm, but no touch. Constantly overthrows his receivers, even the speedy deep threats. Maybe with some hard coaching, he could be a gem. I wouldn't mind a late round flyer on the dude, like a 6th or 7th, but can probably be signed as an UDFA.
He did throw Kip's steak on target at Napoleon's eye while driving a bike with soon to be class president Pedro Gomez standing in the back. That counts for something, right?

I would go with Matt Corral. Especially since we are in a position to sit him a year. He has everything you look for in a quarterback. And has the quickest release of any quarterback in the draft by a mile. Loved his interviews and the leadership he has shown at Ole Miss.

He’s definitely growing on me

I'm curious about what draft was viewed this low as QBs and if there were any sleepers.

I just want to get a QB that when trailing in the 4th quarter, we feel can take the team down the field passing the ball. IMHO only Puckett are Strong in this draft have shown the ability to sit in the pocket and throw into windows. That is a hard skill to learn on the job in the NFL.
Winston can do it.

Willis definitely has the most upside.

But he's no sure bet.
