He'll likely not be a top 3 qb off the board. At the end of the day, i'm not totally sure why. He's a more ready NFL player than the others. HE throws a very very very solid ball with very good enough arm talent. He's shown to me to be very accurate with his passes. (I think accuracy is the biggest need of a qb with a WR1 named Michael Thomas) He's a heck of an athlete, can be mobile in today's game. On thinner side, but has nfl height and proved to be a winner in college.

For the Saints, transitioning to a defensive minded ball club, need a steady presence on the cheap would be terrific getting this team out of cap hell (yes it is a thing for all you non believers). I would not be against Saints drafting a player at 18 but trying to fight there way back to the bottom of the 1st or top of the 2nd to go after Desmond Ridder. I believe he's a great fit here.

He's my choice as well. However, there are things that need to be corrected per the combine discussions last night regarding his accuracy.
Fortunately, it appears to be something that can be fixed with repetition and proper training.

I hope we can get a difference-maker in the WR core to pair with him. I do believe he'll be there for the picking and as mentioned, this guy is a winner.

Yeah, I said take him in the second and didn't get many takers. Now he runs well and he's great. Well, I think Ridder is gonna be the best of this QB class.

Unfortunately, he has not shown to be accurate or to throw with anticipation consistently enough, or he would be an easy top-10 selection. I follow the UC program a good bit, and can tell you he's a spectacular human and leader; definitely someone you want on your team. If there is anyone who can correct his deficiencies with good coaching, I would put my money on him. He has come a long way as a passer since his freshman year, but there's plenty of evidence to suggest he's not ready to do it at the NFL level just yet. That being said, I wouldn't hate it if the Saints took him at the right spot. At absolute worst, he's a premium backup QB and an amazing addition to the lockerroom.

Game against Bama, dropped his stock a lot.... you could also see the HC for Cinncy saying throw the ball before he took another sack, kinda think he should be seeing the area where a WR will be open and he is instead waiting for the WR to be open before throwing it... Definitely think he is the best option for the Saints if we go the QB route in the draft....

I had heard the Payton liked him. If he falls to the 3rd, we may take him. Every year, someone falls in the draft and ends up with a great career.

No way he falls to the 3rd.
I think the Lions sitting at 32 could make some moves. You could see teams jumping into that spot due to the 5th year option. Could be the spot for Howell, Willis , etc just not sure if the Lions keep the pick. Depends on how much they like Goff.
