The Giants will be a formidable opponent (1 Viewer)

I think our secondary is solid enough and TDV hasn't shown any elite passing abilities. Hopefully we can stack the box against Saquon and spy TDV. I'm not sure he's played against a defense as good as ours yet besides Dallas who shut him down. I'm going into this optimistic and maybe that's just because I live in NJ and I'm already tired of hearing about this kid.
The defensive line is porous and slow outside of two players (90 & 96). Teams have been attacking with the run as Carolina shoved it down their throats. The LBs are aged or making tackles five+ yards down the field.

DA is slow to make changes as evident by the multitude of times mobile QBs have gashed the Saints defense without a spy ever being put on the QB. (Another sign of DA's hubris and rigidness.)

I like everything you said but I don't think it'll be that easy particularly when the Giants bootleg their QB out and it's wide open spaces in front of the QB.

I too am optimistic but I think the legend of TDV will likely grow.

There are probably few people
Who think the Saints will have no problem with the Giants Sunday. I'm not one of them. New York has two things goings for them the Saints have had problems with. A big running back and a QB who can scramble for big yards. The latter is something that has been bothering me the most. If the Saints allow Devito to run amuck in a game where I think time of possession will be critical I think it dooms the Saints.
It’s a bad matchup for the Saints and the Giants are playing really focused right now.

Anyone who has watched the Saints play this year understands they are not good and can lose to any team in the NFL (not located in Charlotte, NC). The Giants are a bad match up for the Saints. Good running attack versus bad run defense, Mobile QB versus defense that struggles to contain QB runs, Blitzing/Aggressive defense versus QB/OL that struggles against pressure packages, Two high safety looks versus team that depends on deep shots.

The Giants are hot with 3 in a row. They should keep it rolling. Think they win by 10.

They must have coaches that can actually coach players up. We have the opposite.

The biggest issue this week will be the lack of Chris Olave. He is Carr’s primary receiver on every pass play. His absence won’t bode well for our offense.

You mean like Saheed, Perry, Alonte Taylor, Howden, Adebo, Bresee? The ironic thing is that Payton didn't develop anyone on offense since MT and Kamara. DA actually has a little better track record in that regard than Payton, at least recently.

Carr is 🗑️

Andy Dalton was better in the same system with the same playcaller

Dexter Lawrence is going to be a problem. He only played 20 snaps last week coming back from injury. He had 6 pressures and a sack. He could get Carr rattled early.
Yep, this dude is a beast I paid attention to him since he came in the league. Mark my words he is going to sack Carr.
