My AAL calls are in the money, DRIP continues to run. One more day like this and it'll be time to load up on more puts.

yeah I bought more cheap calls close to the bottom, stupid low premiums. Trends are your friend when you play the opposites

Which is why you are supposed to move to a more conservative portfolio the closer you get to retirement. If you are retired it's risky to have a stock heavy portfolio. We have large market corrections every few years.
The exception is after a crash. I still chastise my mom for going full stable value (aka savings acct) AFTER the 2008/2009 crash. I'm like, mom, after it all crashes, it's too late. Stay in stocks to get the gains back. When things are flying high, get out of stocks. She could have doubled her nest egg by just being patient.

A pretty good number of our clients did the same thing. Tried to reason with them, but they did what they had to do. But, fortunately, most stuck with it and even increased their contributions. Those people that stuck with it were sitting pretty a few years later when they decided to retire.

Thanks. Going to get the Ebook.
Ha, finally got to the value 3.0 chapter. My company is heavily mentioned in it. But, they are quite the value / growth success story.

I would honestly wait for a real sign of a recovery.. don't try to time a bottom.
This is good advice. Maybe I’ll buy 1 or 0.5 and then wait. I don’t have any etherium now, but I want some to fool around on a soon to be launched NFT marketplace.

I am really curious to see what happens in the market on Tuesday.. Especially with Coinbase and Micro Strategy

When everyone is telling you wait to find a bottom or that a sector can't be invested in, it can be a good sign that it's getting close to a bottom. Catching a falling knife is painful more times than not. Maybe buy a half coin now, if it finds a new low then buy another half, rinse and repeat. I really think crypto is going to half again before all is said and done and it finds a bottom. Also not sure it doesn't hang around near the bottom once it finds it for a long cycle. It certainly seems to track fed rates. Difference between crypto and other sectors, there will be no bailout and the government will smile happily to see it all go to $0.
