I've wrestled with it because it's so overwhelmingly illogical, but any attempt I make to apply any kind of logic, even malevolent logic, to it just comes up empty. This is one of the most insane things I've ever seen in my life. He's done more damage in a couple of months than most administrations can muster in two terms.

well if there is any glimmer of hope, futures well off their lows from yesterday and other markets, while down, seem to have started "treading water"

so hoping that is a signal that we have endured the worst. Still will be down day, but not like what was forecasted by futures just 12 hrs ago.
