Who is the commentator that sounds like Rich Eisen? In the clips, I always think it's him but I don't think he covers the NBA too.

Also, I finally get where the NOLA/New York accent comparison comes from. If they wouldn't have said Alvarado was from New York, I would've sworn he was NOLA-born.

One of my pet peeves is movies and TV shows that have New Orleans-based characters with a really crappy attempt at a Cajun accent. To be clear, I'm not calling Cajun accents crappy - I'm calling what paid actors try to pass off as a Cajun accent.

I find myself explaining to people quite often that a true New Orleans accent is much closer to a Bronx-type one than a Cajun one. They don't believe me until I pull up youtube videos from down there showing the true accent.
