I'll follow the NFL playoffs and be pulling for Detroit and Buffalo. If by some miracle the Bengals get in I'll follow Joe and Jamaar. LSU Basketball will be maybe okay until conference play starts. LSU Baseball is fun in May/June but mostly following the B&G off season. Baseball has become boring since my team sucks (Angels). About time I'm over sports it will be spring training again. So where will your sporting interest turn after the game clock strikes 0:00 at Raymond James Stadium?
I'm not talking about some casual enjoyment or following, but a genuine emotional fan attachment that falls into your 'must watch' sports category. I have to admit that until LSU baseball kicks off in February, I've got nothing..
Maybe I'll finally get some chores done around the house. So, what you got???

I've been trying to understand why I feel exactly like you do. I have been watching the Saints for over 40 years and this is the most apathetic I can ever recall feeling about them. Even my father who has watched the Saints literally from their FIRST ever game said that for the FIRST time in his life, he turned off a Saints game before it was actually over. Two weeks ago during the shoutout, he switched the channel when it was 21-0. This was a monumental statement as my father and I had previously discussed how we always watch every second of a Saints game regardless of the outcome because that's how deep our passion for them goes. My brother also switched off. I am home in NOLA for the holidays and the Saints game was on and I was busy doing other things with the game on in the background, only tuning in mentally every now and then to catch a Saints penalty or some other gaffe, getting disappointed and tuning out again.I’ve treated the significant majority of Saints games as practice games the past three seasons. I highly doubt it’s any better next year. My apathy is the highest it’s been since, well…I don’t even remember. Mora came around when I was relatively young, so I’d say that this is probably the lowest point in the franchise during my life. We’ve had worse teams, but there was at least something to look forward to. At the end of Haslett we got Payton, Brees, and the #2 overall pick. Now, we’re stuck with Carr, a bunch of depreciating assets on inescapable contracts, and a pick barely within the top 10. My hope is that we finally stop extending these players…get rid of the dead cap, get rid of the vets…and just get through the 2025 season
While I'm sure that the reasons for the 'interest ebb' can vary with each person, some of the main ones could be that the product no longer delivers a sense of pride & joy that we've come to expect. It may even produce feelings of disgrace & misery for those fans who rely on the games to bring them pleasure.I've been trying to understand why I feel exactly like you do. Yes, I know we have had miserable times before. Every Saints fan knows that. But something about this feels differently than any other Saints stretch. I can't put my finger on it but my feelings range from apathy to disgust. Lol
Oooo... now I'm excited!Mock drafts

For me, it'll be the rest of the college football playoffs, then hockey, then maybe a little college hoops if LSU's men or women show something as their seasons progress. So where will your sporting interest turn after the game clock strikes 0:00 at Raymond James Stadium?
