Lol at people saying we should have run the ball with 4 mins left. We had to make first downs. And if we failed, we wanted to have time on the clock. Payton played it perfectly. We just didn't finish our last drive.

Also, Corey White is like the guy you can trick by telling him his shoe is untied. Going for that interception was one of the most spastic things ever.

I don't follow the run logic, especially when we were basically getting less than 2YPC, other than one decent run.

However, Drew can't throw that pick. That was terrible. You have to protect the football. If we end up Punting, then fine, punt. But I do agree, you're just playing with fire to just run it up the gut 3 plays in a row and you guarantee punting.

A few bad calls or missed calls by the Refs though. Especially in critical moments. That's infuriating.

Such a shame. I thought the team finally came out of the gate with a ton of energy, good tackling. Lofton was straight up beasting out there. Some nice stunts by the D-line (pretty much how Junior got his sacks). Ball was playing well, Lewis played well. All in all, a great effort, until the last 5 minutes.

That's all fine and good thinking you won't be able to milk the clock by running against that defense, but you guys are giving Payton too much credit. He didn't decide to pass the ball because of their stout defense. He decided to pass the ball because he really, really loves passing the ball. It doesn't matter who we play, in that situation, he's gonna pass. That's a problem. I'm not going to pat him on the back because his same old dumb logic just happened to be the right decision for once.

His game management skills are horrible and his play calling is worse.

Patting him on the back is merely coincidental to ridiculing the people who wanted to run the ball in that spot. In that scenario, his mania aligned with the right strategy.

Is that better?

Yes.

But I'm not patting you on the back either.

Watching the sudden "I always hated Harvin" action and all those jumping off ledges here in the Seattle area makes my own pain a little more bearable. I'd say there are 30% fewer "12th men" now than there were on Labor Day.

1st and 15 we ran for 6 yards. 2nd and 9, you run it again. 3rd down? Run it again. You don't get it? Punt it and trust the defense that has been playing well all game long to get to the QB when he has to drive the whole field. Don't let 1 big play change the mind set. You trust in that defense while burning some time off the clock.
