I remember this from working the NATPE show in the 90s. I was on the Buena Vista booth, and the big reveal for station buyers was the baby dropping out of the ceiling.

I attended NATPE a couple times in the late 90s.. i remember seeing the cast of Baywatch .. as well as Donny & Marie, who had a daytime talk show at the time.. but ill never , ever forget seeing my childhood crush (no, not Catherine Bach, the other one)- Alyssa Milano.. she had recently cut most of her hair off, was all tatted-up and sitting there chain-smoking cigs.. i actually did a couple of shots from a bar they had set up, in order to get some ‘liquid courage’ to go up and say hello to her.. but it was to no avail, i just couldnt get myself to do it.. that occurred over a quarter century ago now, so in the spirit of this thread- i feel ancient .

I would always prick my fingers and hands when pulling weeds. My wife found some gardening gloves on Amazon and it’s like wearing a suit of armor, but soft. Not even rose thorns can stab me anymore.

I love those freakin gloves!

When I was in my 30s, I would laugh at rose thorn pricks, wipe the blood on my shirt, and finish whipping the landscaping’s arse. Now, I need prick-free gloves and safety goggles to protect my dainty hands and beautiful eyes.

Late 40s is the new 80.

I need welder's gloves with gauntlets to avoid the damn sand burrs in my yard

When you can't sleep for more than six hours because stuff starts hurting you might be old. When your great grand nephew is showing of his kids 2nd birthday you might be old.

So yeah, being old is making me feel old.

I got 6 hours continuous sleep last night and feel like I won the lottery. I wonder when it might happen again...

On the positive side, my lady friend is 49 and I'm 63. This can make me feel both old and young
